With emotion playing such a large part in the sense of smell people often assume that there is no logic in their choice of fragrances. Yet it is most likely that at least two of their favorite fragrances belong to the same fragrance family. The fragrance families hold the key to everyone's likes and dislikes. That is why the Fragrance Wheel helps you to see the
relationship of fragrances in the same fragrance family. The Fragrance Wheel breaks down the four major perfume groups into more distinct families. Each family leads to the next. Florals become Soft Florals when blended with sparkling aldehydes and balanced by a soft iris or vanilla dry down. Soft Florals are transformed into Floral Orientals by adding certain scents, for example, stronger flowers and weet spices.

With the Fragrance Wheel it is easy for you to find the right fragrance for your personality or to choose the perfect alternative if you want to try something new. The family to which your favorite fragrance belongs should give you an indication of other fragrances in the same family group that would most likely satisfy your need.
